Kintari

**Kintari is a dating app designed around intentional, meaningful connections rather than endless swiping.** The platform takes a slower approach to online dating, giving users space to build thoughtful profiles, clearly communicate what they are looking for and connect through mutual interest. Features such as detailed profiles, purposeful filtering and upfront dating intentions are designed to reduce ambiguity and make discovering compatible people feel more natural. Privacy and safety are built into the product experience, with age assurance, profile confirmation, accessible reporting and blocking tools, and careful handling of sensitive profile information. Kintari is designed specifically for adults and places user control at the centre of how information is shared and interactions are managed. I developed Kintari as an end-to-end consumer product, combining mobile application development, backend infrastructure, authentication, privacy and safety systems, matching and discovery features, and a carefully considered user experience. The project presented the challenge of building a social platform that feels simple and welcoming while handling the complex technical and privacy requirements that sit behind a modern dating service.
